Danger
Danger of injury through sharp
cutting blades
Wear safety gloves.
Turning one cutting blade on units
with more than one blade can
cause the other blades to rotate.
Several attachments are available
for your tractor. To mount some of
these attachments and in order to
perform certain maintenance
procedures, the deck must be
removed from the tractor. To
properly remove the cutting deck,
proceed as follows:
Move the PTO switch/lever
into the disengaged (OFF)
position and engage the
parking brake.
Lower the deck by moving the
lift lever into the bottom notch.
Grasp the PTO idler pulley
bracket (4) and pivot it toward
the discharge chute to relieve
tension on the belt. Remove
the deck belt from the bottom
portion of the engine pulley
and from around the PTO idler
pulley (4).
Note: On units equipped with
a 96-127cm decks, the
bottommost belt on the deck
does NOT need to be removed
in order to remove the deck.
Looking at the cutting deck
from the right side of the
tractor, locate the deck support
pin (3) on the rear right side of
the deck.
Pull the deck support pin (3)
outward to release the deck
from the deck lift arm. Rotate
the pin slightly toward the rear
of the tractor and release the
pin into the hole provided.

allowing the hooks on the
deck to release themselves
from the deck stabilizer rod.
Do NOT let the deck fall to the
ground.
Gently slide the cutting deck
(from the right side) out from
underneath the tractor.
Installation of the deck
To properly remount the cutting
