4. ADVICE FROM CHEFS

To preserve the non-stick nature of the cooking plates, do not
allow them to heat up too long without food on them and do
not wash the plates with abrasives.
Use wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils to turn your
waffles over and avoid scratching the surface.
Spread a little vegetable oil on the plates before pouring the
waffle dough on.

6. CLEANING AND STORAGE

Once you have finished cooking, turn the switch to 'O' and unplug
the unit. Allow to cool completely (at least a 1⁄2 hour) before
cleaning.
Remove the plates from the unit by pressing the release
buttons. The plates may be washed in warm, soapy water or in the
dishwasher.
Do not use metal objects like knives and forks, or abrasive
sponges or products that could damage the coating.
To clean the appliance housing, the cover and the handle, use
a damp cloth and a little soft detergent. Do not use abrasive
sponges or products.
Cleaning the appliance and the plates regularly prevent excessive
build up.
