• Do not place the appliance on or near a hot appliance. Do not use
on heat sensitive surfaces or near inflammable materials.
• Do not put anything on the grill when it is on.
• Leave enough space between the grill and the walls or furniture.
Do not place the grill below wall-mounted kitchen elements.
• Do not let cord hang over the edge of the work surface and do not
let it touch hot surfaces.
• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
• Always unplug the appliance after use and before cleaning. Never
leave the appliance unattended when plugged in. Pull on the
plug to unplug, never on the cord.
• Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used
near children. Store out of reach of children. Do not let children
use the grill.
• The grill should not be used with an external timer or with a
separate remote control system
• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen or if it appears damaged.
• Stop using the machine immediately if the cord is damaged.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.

LIEGE WAFFLES

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Standing time: 2 hours
• 25 g dried baker's yeast
• 30 cl milk
• 20 g sugar
• 300 g flour
• 3 eggs
• 100 g butter
• 20 g honey
• 2 pinches salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
• 1⁄2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
• Icing sugar
In a bowl, mix the yeast with warm milk and add the flour. Let the
dough rise for an hour. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Set
aside.
Melt the butter and pour onto the dough and mix lightly.
Add the egg yolks, honey, sugar, a pinch of salt, the soda and the
cinnamon.
Mix until the dough is smooth.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold into the dough.
Cover with a cloth and allow to stand for 1 hour.
Select the mode by turning the central button to the right.
Then, using the right button, set the temperature to 230°C.
Lightly grease the plates and pour enough of the dough onto the
plates.
Spread the dough. Close the grill and press on the handle.
Allow the waffles to brown, and then remove.
Sprinkle immediately with icing sugar and eat warm.
