Installation and Commissioning

1. While unpacking, check the housing for mechanical d amage. Please immediately report any damage to your local
METTLER TOLEDO representative.
2. Ensure the housing is fully retracted and in the "service" position.
3. Isolate the pipe / tank / vessel etc. from the housing (depressurize, empty, rinse, purge and vent, etc.) before starting
any installation work.
4. Fit the housing to flange / NPT thread of process connection.
5. Adjust the electrode / sensor protective cage (InTrac 781/ 784 housings only).
6. Attach the flushing lines (if applicable) and compressed air lines (for InTrac 7XX pneumatic operation only).
7. Fit the electrode / sensor to the housing and connect the electrode / sensor and the transmitter with corresponding cable.
8. Move the housing insertion rod into operation ("measure" position).
