NOTICE
Risk of damage to the charger

Always place the charger on a solid surface when
charging.
e
Porsche recommends using the charger in the
wall mount. In some countries, e.g. Switzerland
the charger may only be used in the Basic wall
mount.

Do not immerse the charger in water.
e
Protect the charger from snow and ice.
e
Protect the charger against potential damage
through being driven over, dropped, pulled, bent
or crushed.
The charger must only be operated within a temper-
ature range from –22 °F to +122 °F (-30 °C to
+50 °C).

To prevent overheating during operation, avoid
continuous exposure of the charger to direct
sunlight. If the control unit overheats, charging
is interrupted or the power is reduced automati-
cally until the temperature has returned to the
normal range.

When driving abroad, always carry the appropri-
ate supply cable for the country you are visiting
with you.
