Do not cut with the tip of the bar. There is a high risk
of rebound in thecuts with the tip of the bar so they
should never be made.
Always set the machine on a flat and stable surface.
Do not use accessories in this machine except those
recommended by our company, as their use could
cause severe damage to the user, to people near the
machine and to the machine itself.
Never drop the machine and never try to stop the
chain by approaching a wood or obstacle.
7.1. MACHINE HOLDING AND GUIDING
While working always hold the chainsaw firmly with
your hand on the handle.

7.2. SHARPENING THE CHAIN

The chainsaw chain dulls as cuts are made. If you
observe any of the following symptoms it is time to
sharpen the chain:
- More effort is needed to make the cut.
- The cutting path is not straight.
- Vibrations increase.
- When cutting, sawdust is produced instead of chips.
To sharpen the chain, follow the instructions in point
8.2. "Sharpening the chain".
7.3. CUT WITH THE CHAINSAW
We recommend that you train with small branches
in an easy position to gain experience before
undertaking more complicated cuts.
Always follow the safety rules that we indicate in this
manual.
Use this machine exclusively for cutting wood. Cutting
any other type of material is prohibited.
Do not use this machine to move objects.
While cutting, use the machine gently. Use only slight
downward pressure while keeping the machine at
full power. The own weight of the machine will be
sufficient to carry out the cut.
If the chain locks, do not try to pull the saw while it is
running. Stop the chainsaw and use a wedge to free
the chainsaw.
7.3.1. CUTTING A LOG RESTING ON THE GROUND
When a log is fully supported on the ground, first cut
half of the log from above, then turn half a turn and
cut the rest.
If the log is supported on the sides (Zone B) you
should make a cut from the top halfway (1) and
then cut the rest from below (2). In this way you will
prevent the internal tension of the log from closing the
cut by blocking the chain and the bar of the chainsaw.
If you are going to make a cut in a log supported by
one end (Zone A) you should proceed in reverse. First
cut half of the log from the bottom (1) and then finish
the cut from the top (2).
