Fix the brass screw fitting on the sensor using the assembly pin. For this purpose, the

installation direction of the grooved pin is to be observed.
Insert the temperature sensor with the screw fitting into the ball valve.

Tighten the brass screw fitting manually (without tool).

When installing in dip sleeves, the sensors must be pushed in down to the
bottom of the dip sleeve and then fixed.
Sealing
• After installation and inspection, the temperature sensor and the interface between
meter and pipeline must be sealed.
Information regarding connection of 4 wire temperature sensors
• Optionally, also 4 wire temperature sensors, such as head sensors, can optionally be
connected to the computer unit.
• The maximum cable length for the 4 wire temperature sensor Pt 500 is 25 m.
