The part code "RH-FC48N" includes the following:
– Basic hydraulic head.
– Locking screws type "B" (2 pcs).
– Locking screws type "C" (2 pcs).
– 3 mm and 4 mm Allen keys.
– Plastic carrying case type VAL P30.
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The head is supplied with an automatic, quick fi t male coupler suitable for connection to
a hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical 700 bar pump from the Cembre range.
2.1) Setting
– Connect the RH-FC48N head to a suitable pump (see Fig. 1); the head includes a rotating
connection which makes it easier to use in any position.
– Consult the tables on page 17 to select the RD... Punching Kit suitable for the hole to
be made.
– Screw the punch directly onto the appropriate thread of the stud (2).
Tighten by hand, do not over-tighten (see Fig. 5a).
• Punch sizes ø 15.5 - 30.5 mm have a 7/16"-20 UNF thread (**).
• Punch sizes ø 28.5 - 47.2 mm have a 3/4"-16 UNF thread.
– Insert the appropriate locking screw (B or C) completely into the die and screw the
"die-locking screw" assembly into the upper die holder (see Fig. 5b).
Use the 4 mm allen key, supplied with the tool, to tighten the locking screw.
NOTE: turn the locking screw, anticlockwise to secure and clockwise to release.
2.2) Punching
Before punching:
• Check the correct match between die and punch.
• Keep hands away from the punching zone to avoid serious risk of injury!
– Position the tool on the trunking, at the desired hole centre (see Fig. 3).
– Operate the pump to advance the ram and punch to achieve the required hole.
NOTE: When punching holes in the base of trunking (see Fig. 4) with sides 50 mm (2")
high, it is necessary to fi t the die after positioning the tool on the trunking.
Prior to removing the tool from the trunking, unscrew and remove the die.
2.3) Retracting the punch
– Release the oil pressure from the pump and fully retract the ram.
The extractors (22) will then permit the head to be disengaged from the trunking.
KIT KAD3/8-FC is available separately for accessories with a 3/8"-24UNF thread.

- Seriennr. des Werkzeuges

posible desmontaje de la cabeza.
Al pedir piezas de repuesto, indicar siempre los elementos siguientes:
- número de código del elemento - descripción del elemento - tipo de herramienta
- número de serie de la herramienta
I particolari contrassegnati dalla lettera "K" sono quelli che la Cembre consiglia di cambiare sempre
nel caso di un eventuale smontaggio della testa.
Per ordinare parti di ricambio, specifi care sempre i seguenti punti:
- numero di codice del componente - denominazione del componente - tipo di utensile
- numero di matricola dell'utensile
