Fault
Display indicator: A03
– Brushes blocked repeatedly
The unit reverses its direction
of rotation several times in
succession and then remains
stationary.
Display indicator: A05
– Overheating of the circuit
board in the control unit (>
60 °C)
Display indicator: A06
– Low temperatures of the cir-
cuit board in the control unit
(< -30 °C)
Display indicator: A08
– Motor temperature switch
tripped

Control unit ready for ope-
ration
Unit does not start the brus-
hing cycle.
The brush does not reverse its
direction of rotation when it is
placed under load
Cause
The motor has been stopped mechani-
cally or blocked by a foreign body.
Main board in control unit defective.
Gears faulty or contain braking
mechanical parts. (e.g. gear wheel
breakage due to a lack of oil)
Capacitor faulty.
Motor cable broken.
Control unit exposed to direct sunlight.
Motor cable broken.
Capacitor faulty.
Low temperature on the circuit board
in the control unit.
The motor temperature switch has
tripped.
Sensor board defective.
Motor cable broken.
Motor faulty.
The brush resistance setting
is not correct.
Main board defective.
Corrective measure
• Remove the foreign body.
• Also check the fan wheel on the motor.
• Replace the main board.
• Contact the manufacturer.
• Replace the motor and gears.
• Have the capacitor checked by a qualified electrician
and replaced if necessary.
• All wires of the motor cable have continuity?
• External insulation intact?
• Replace motor cable if damaged.
• Protect the control unit from sunlight.
• All wires of the motor cable have continuity?
• External insulation intact?
• Replace motor cable if damaged.
• Have the capacitor checked by a qualified electrician
and replaced if necessary.
• Take the unit out of operation and switch it on again
when the outside temperature rises again.
• Disconnect the unit from the mains, let it cool down
and restart it.
• Check the main board bridge (Fig. 8)
• Check the sensor board (Fig. 10 + 11).
• Does the LED on the sensor board light up when the brush is
deflected from its rest position?
• If the LED does not light up when the sensor board is deflected:
• Check the motor cable and replace if necessary
• Sensor board defective, replace sensor board
• Check the motor
• All wires of the motor cable have continuity?
• External insulation intact?
• Replace motor cable if damaged.
• Have the motor checked by a qualified electrician
• Adjust the setting on the black dip switch (Fig. 8 - item 1) until
the motor reverses direction when the relevant load is placed
on it.
• If the unit does not switch off with an appropriate load with any
of the settings, the main board is defective.
• Replace the main board.
