IRONING
• Connect the plug (7) to a suitable socket.
• Press the ON/OFF button (4).
• The steam (ready) LED (5) starts to flash during the warm-up phase.

• Start ironing when the steam (ready) LED (5) lights up and stops blinking.
• The plate temperature LED (10) goes on and off intermittently while ironing, indicating
that the appliance maintains the optimal temperature.
• Press the steam button (9) to steam iron.
• Dry iron by not pressing the steam button (9).
WArNING! risk of burn. Never loosen the safety cap when
ironing normally and take the utmost care when topping up.
WArNING! risk of burn. The boiler becomes very hot inside.
If cold water is poured in, it evaporates immediatly and steam
comes out. Therefore, take the utmost care when topping up.
FILLING THE BOILER WHEN HOT
• When the water in the boiler finishes, the iron no longer dispenses steam and the no
water LED (3) lights up.
• Switch the appliance off by pressing the ON/OFF (4) button.
• Disconnect the plug (7) from the socket.
• Wait a few minutes and then slowly loosen the safety cap (1) relieving any residual
steam from the boiler.
• Loosen the safety cap (1) completely and wait a few minutes before topping-up the
water.
• Pour the water into the boiler very slowly with the cup (11) and without overflowing.
• When it is full, tighten the safety cap (1).
• Continue ironing according to the instructions provided in the "ironing" paragraph.
PrESSUrE GAUGE (where applicable)
The pressure gauge (2) allows the pressure of the steam inside the boiler to always be
monitored. While ironing, the pointer moves according to the mode required and sets itself
between the yellow and green areas.
• Switch the appliance off by pressing the ON/OFF (4) button.
• Disconnect the plug (7) from the socket.
• Wait for the appliance to cool down completely before putting it away. The boiler does
not have to be emptied.
NOTE: If the appliance is not to be used for several weeks, wait for the appliance to cool
down completely before emptying the water reservoir completely, following the
instructions in the suitable paragraph. Upon switching back on, fill the water reservoir
again as per relevant paragraph.
