You do not need to install the operating system as it is pre-installed.
However, you need to perform the final steps to complete the installation
and configuration of the solution. For more information, see "Completing
the Configuration."

Cabling the Solution

Before you turn on the system, ensure that the PowerVault MD3000
storage array is cabled to the PowerVault NX1950 storage system(s).
Figure 1-1 and Figure 1-2 illustrate how to cable the SAS 5/E HBA
controllers in the PowerVault NX1950 storage system to the PowerVault
MD3000 storage array. The PowerVault NX1950 storage solution supports
single-node and two-node cluster configurations only. See Figure 1-1
for single-node configuration and Figure 1-2 for two-node configuration.
