Selecting a tool

An SDS Plus attachment tool is required for
impact drilling.
Use the keyless chuck with SDS Plus adap-
ter for drilling without impact into wood,
metal, ceramic and plastic.
You can insert cylindrical drill bits with a
diameter of 0.8 - 10 mm into this chuck, or
an attachment tool with a hexagonal shaft.
For screwing, use the screw bits that are
inserted via the keyless chuck with SDS
Plus adapter.
The "impact drilling" operating
mode may only be used if the key-
less chuck is not attached!

Changing the tool

The tool holder with SDS Plus adapter
allows you to change the attachment tool
easily and conveniently without use of ad-
ditional tools.
The attachment tool is freely movable for
technical reasons. This causes a concen-
tricity deviation during idling but this has
no effect on the accuracy of the bore hole
since the drill centres itself automatically
while drilling.
The device is capable of using various drill
bit types featuring a hexagonal or cylind-
rical shaft thanks to the keyless chuck with
SDS Plus adapter.

The dust protection cap (2) largely prevents
the ingress of drilling dust into the tool
holder during operation. Ensure the dust
protection cap (2) is not damaged when
inserting tools.
If damaged, the dust protection cap
must be replaced immediately. It is re-
commended for this to be performed
by customer service.

by pulling the locking sleeve (3)
backwards.
2. Rotate the tool into the tool holder.
3. Release the locking sleeve (3)
4. Check that the tool is secure by
pulling on it. The tool exhibits
some radial play for technical rea-
sons.

Removing an SDS Plus tool

1 Pull the locking sleeve (3) back-
wards and remove the attachment
tool.
