7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Error messages
System faults are indicated by error messages on the screen.
2054 CRI UBAT too low
Example:
Use <F12> to delete the error message. If the cause for the error has not been resolved, the error message will
be displayed again during operation.
The following table lists all the error messages and remedial measures that might occur during the testing of
common-rail injectors. If the fault cannot be resolved, contact Bosch customer service.

If you direct a query to customer service relating to a fault, specify the status code and module ID so the
fault can be resolved quickly.

Symptoms

Symptom
The shot-to-shot scatter measurements are not being
performed.

Remedial measures
Check the USB cable.
Check the voltage supply.
Check all electrical connectors of the pressure sensor.
Check the hydraulic connections for leaks.
Rest the zero point on all pressure sensors (see section 8.1).
Inform customer service.
Hydraulic fault: repeat measurement. If the issue persists, the injector
is defective.
Software error. Re-install the EPS 945 system software.
Check the electrical cables. Repeat measurement.
Repeat measurement.
Check the internal connections in the actuation electronics.
Check the power supply at the voltage stabilizer. If necessary, set it to
14 V or 28 V respectively.
Switch the voltage stabilizer off and on again.
Inform customer service.
Check the electrical connector for pressure sensor X.
Check the internal connections in the actuation electronics.
Check the internal connections in the actuation electronics.
Remedial measures
Check if automatic mode has been activated for the test.
Check if the SST injection monitor has been activated in the configuration.
Check if the Q3S setpoint has been entered in the test sequence.
Check if setpoints have been entered for the quantities in the test
sequence.
