VICTORIA PLUS SILENT VS PUMP

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The main characteristic of a variable speed pump is the possibility of modifying the working speed depending on usage
needs.
As a general rule, the filtering process will be performed at low-speeds with the aim of taking advantage of its energy-
saving characteristics, low noise level and better filtering quality. In accordance with these features, the right adjustment
of the filtration times is required as the flow rate decreases when the pump works at low speeds.
The accessories of the pool will probably require the use of the pump to work. These elements can be very varied, and
include cleaning systems, heat exchangers and chemical dosing systems. In most cases these devices can work correctly
at low speeds. If this is not the case, you can increase the speed so that these units work properly.
In the event of performing chemical shock treatments or using cleaning products, it is suggested that high speeds be
used. Filter backwash operations should always be performed at high speed.
In addition to the above, you should set the timer based on not only the operating time but also on the operating speed.
RECOMMENDED FILTRATION TIMES IN VARIABLE SPEED MODE
As a general rule, medium speed will be used most of the time, but a part of the time will be spent at high and low
speeds. A good starting point would be to work 15% of the time at high speed, 55% at medium speed and 30% at
low speed. In variable speed mode, the total operating time should be increased proportionally to the reduction in flow
rate when the pump is operating at lower speeds.
In the case of low volume pools, high speed is recommended for cleaning the filter and/or water surface cleaning, and
low and medium speed for general filtration purposes.
Example of standard daily settings (*):
FLOW RATE
SPEED
High (2750 RPM)
17 m
Medium (2100 RPM)
12 m
Low (1400 RPM)
8 m

Medium (2100 RPM)

Low (1400 RPM)
8 m
(*) The standard daily settings should be adjusted to the filtration requirements and flow rate supplied by the pump according to the installation (depending on the pipe diameters,
valves installed, filters, reducers, nozzles, etc.) so that the total time assigned to the different working speeds and their corresponding flow rates ensures the total water volume
of the pool is renewed at least once a day.
