firSt uSe anD operation

the appliance has a high-quality surface. Please take care to cautiously put the kitchenware on it to avoid
scratches.
1. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth before
using it for the first time.
2. Use the appliance only with the attached
power cord. Connect first the plug into the
warming plate inlet. Then put the safety
plug into an earthed socket as per rating
label. The control lamp turns on and keeps
on as long as the appliance is connected to
the mains.
caution:
the surface becomes very hot!
3. The warming plate reaches the maximum
temperature of approx. 100 °C in approx.
5 minutes. Then the power cord can be
removed and the appliance can be used as
an independent cordless unit. The heat will
be kept for about 1 hour. When removing

1. unplug the appliance after usage and before
cleaning it.
2. Do not immerse the appliance into water or
any other liquid.

4. Optionally the appliance may remain con-
nected with the power supply. The integ-
rated thermostat prevents overheating and
shuts the appliance off, as soon as the
maximum temperature is reached. When
the temperature drops, the thermostate will
pick up again and will reheat the appliance.
5. We recommend to use heat-resisting kit-
chenware with a flat bottom. Kitchenware
with high sides and uneven bottom contact
will result in heat losses. Cover the kitchen-
ware with appropriate lids to ensure high
heating efficiency.
6. Unplug the appliance after use.
