due to laser radiation.
The HL18L is an opto-electronic photoelectric retro-reflective sensor (referred to as
"sensor" in the following) for the optical, non-contact detection of objects. A reflector is
required for this product to function. If the product is used for any other purpose or mo‐
dified in any way, any warranty claim against SICK AG shall become void.
The HL18L sensor complies with the Radio Safety Requirements (EMC) for the industri‐
al sector (Radio Safety Class A). It may cause radio interference if used in a residential
area.
