Safety instructions

WARNING!
This product may be used only by trained medical staff, who
have been shown how to use it according to the instructions for
use.
Before each use, check:
• the insulation of connecting cables,
• the footswitch for correct functioning and signs of physical
damage,
• which function field of the electrosurgical unit is activated
with which footswitch!
Checks other than those described in these instructions for use
do not need to be carried out.
Do not use damaged footswitches or footswitches with damaged
connecting cables!
Footswitches without AP protection must not be used in the
presence of combustible or explosive materials!
Footswitches which contain ferromagnetic parts must not be used
in or in the vicinity of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging system!
Never lay this product on the patient or in his/her direct vicinity.
Erbe Elektromedizin expressly warns against modifying the
footswitch or connecting cable. Any modification will exempt
Erbe Elektromedizin from all liability.
