Using the appliance
NOTE:
- Water and energy consumption may vary according to fluctuations in water pressure,
hardness, temperature, ambient temperature, type and quantity of laundry, spin speed, and
electrical voltage.
- Depending on the amount of laundry you have loaded into the machine, there may be
a difference of 1 to 1.5 hours between the time displayed on the programme and energy
consumption table and the actual wash cycle time. The time is automatically updated when
the wash cycle starts.
- Always select the lowest required temperature. The most energy-efficient programs are
usually those that work at lower temperatures over longer periods of time.
- The noise level and residual humidity depend on the spin speed: the higher the spin speed
during the spinning stage, the louder the noise and the lower the residual humidity level.

Main programs
Depending on the type of material, use the following main programmes.
• Cotton
Use this programme for your cotton laundry (sheets, bed linen, towels, bathrobes,
underwear, etc.). This washes your laundry with vigorous washing motions over a longer
wash cycle.
• Synthetics
Use this programme to wash your synthetic laundry (shirts, blouses, mixed synthetic/
cotton clothes, etc.). Your laundry is washed gently over a shorter wash cycle, compared
to the «Cotton» programme. For curtains and tulle, we recommend using the Synthetics
programme at 20°C or 40°C.
• Wool/Hand wash
Use this programme to wash your wool laundry/delicates. Your laundry is washed gently to
avoid damaging the clothes.
Additional programmes
There are additional programmes for special cases.
NOTE:
The additional programmes may vary depending on the model of your machine.
• Eco 40-60
The Eco 40-60 programme allows you to clean normally dirty cotton clothes at 40°C or 60°C
53
in the same cycle. This programme is also used to assess compliance with EU eco-design
53
legislation.
53
Although it takes longer than all other programmes, it saves a lot of energy and water.
53
The actual water temperature may be different from the specified washing temperature.
When you load a small amount (about 1/2 capacity or less) of laundry into the machine, the
programme time can be automatically shortened during the subsequent stage. In this case,
53
energy and water consumption will decrease.
40
• Cotton 60° with prewash
62
Use this programme only for very dirty cotton clothes. Do not put detergent in the pre-wash
compartment.
• Express
Use this programme to wash slightly dirty cotton clothes quickly.
