Using the appliance
Adjusting the legs
WARNING:
To ensure that your unit operates as quietly as possible with minimum
vibrations, it must be level and well-balanced. Balance the machine by adjusting the legs.
Otherwise, the machine could move and cause a number of problems, including vibrations.
WARNING:
Do not use tools to unscrew the locknuts. You may damage them.
1. Unscrew the locknuts on the legs by hand.
2. Adjust the legs until the machine is level and well-balanced.
3. Tighten all the nuts on the hoses by hand.
Connection to the power supply
Connect the machine to a grounded outlet protected by a 16 A fuse. Our company cannot
be held responsible for damage caused by using the unit without an earth connection in
accordance with local regulations.
• The connection must comply with the regulations in force in your country.
• The wiring of the electrical output circuit must meet the requirements of the unit. It is
recommended to use of a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
• The power cable socket must be easily accessible after installation.
• If the fuse or circuit breaker in your home is less than 16 A, call a qualified electrician to
install a 16 A fuse.
• The voltage specified in the «Technical Specifications» section must be the same as that
of your electrical supply.

• Do not connect using extension cords or multi-socket plugs.
WARNING:
Damaged power cables must be replaced by the authorised service centre.
Before the first use
Before starting to use the product, make sure that all preparatory measures have been
taken in accordance with the instructions in the «Important Safety and Environmental
Instructions» and «Installation» sections. To prepare the machine for washing clothes, carry
out a first cycle on the «Cleaning the Drum» programme. If this programme is not available
on your machine, use the method described in Section 4.4.2.
NOTE:
- Use an descaler specially designed for washing machines.
- There may be water residue in your machine as a result of quality control operations
carried out during production. This does not affect the functioning of your machine.
