Fitting the bottom frame (fig. 6)
(Jøtul I 80 Mini/Maxi - Harmony and
Panorama)
• Remove the knob on the bar for the lower air vent
(fig. 6-A).
• Place the bottom frame (B) so that the bar passes
through the hole in the frame.
• Fasten the bottom frame with 2 screws (C) M6x12.
• Refit the knob.
Ash lip (Jøtul I 80 Mini/Maxi - Classic,
Harmony and Panorama)
Place the ash lip next to the bottom frame.

Ash moulding/log stopper

Put the ash moulding into place in the columns situated on
the bottom of the sides between the front and side burn
plates.

Assembly of the flue connecting pipe

(fig. 7)
• The flue connecting pipe (A), which is packed in the box,
is placed on the top of the fireplace. Place the flue
connecting pipe in such a manner that the screw
attached to it, is facing outwards.
• Place one clamp iron (B) on each side. These are held in
place with a screw (C) M8x30mm and with nuts.
Checking the operating parts (fig. 8)
When the insert is in place, always check the control
equipment. These should be freely mobile and appear
satisfactory. The loose handle can be used when the
fireplace is hot.

Operating instructions

Initial lighting

Open the ignition vent on the door fully by moving the vent
all the way to the right (fig. 8 - A). Then open the draught
vent by moving it fully by pushing it to the right (B). Put in
some crumpled newspaper, kindling wood and firewood
and start a small fire. Add more firewood gradually and let
the fire burn briskly for a couple of hours.
Note! Odors when using the stove for the first time.
Painted products: The stove may emit an irritating gas when
used for the first time, and it may smell a little. The gas is
not toxic, but it is recommended to open a window or a
door to provide additional ventilation in the room. Let the
fire burn with a high draught until all traces of gas have
disappeared and no smoke or smells can be detected.
