OPERATION
•
DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN OR UN-
TRAINED INDIVIDUALS TO USE THIS UNIT.
•
Never start or run this blower inside a closed
area; breathing exhaust fumes can kill.
•
Always hold blower as shown in the "Operation
Instructions," page 7.
•
Never operate unit without a spark arrestor
screen (located on the muffler).
•
Make sure unit is properly assembled and in
good operating condition. Do not operate with-
out blower tubes in place. Do not operate
without guard(s) in place.
•
Do not attempt to install or remove attach-
ments, make repairs or remove obstruc-
tion from the fan housing while engine is
running.
•
PRODUCT USERS ON UNITED STATES
FOREST SERVICE LAND, AND IN SOME
STATES, MUST COMPLY WITH FIRE PRE-
VENTION REGULATIONS. THIS PRODUCT
IS EQUIPPED WITH A SPARK ARRESTOR;
HOWEVER, OTHER USER REQUIRE-
MENTS MAY APPLY. CHECK WITH YOUR
FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL AUTHORI-
TIES.
•
Your unit has been equipped with a spark
arrestor system which has been qualified
by the USDA Forest Service. All National
Forest, and some Federal and State lands
require many internal combustion engines
to be equipped with a spark arrestor de-
vice by law. If you operate this unit in an
area where such regulations exist, you are
responsible for maintaining these parts in
operating condition. Refer to the Service
and Adjustment Section of this manual for
proper maintenance and servicing instruc-
tions for the muffler and spark arrestor
system.

Il ne faut jamais utiliser ce souffleur dans un
endroit fermé. L'inhalation des gaz
d'échappement peut être mortelle.

Il faut toujours tenir le souffleur comme montré
dans « Utilisation », page 7.
•
Il ne faut jamais utiliser l'appareil sans pare-
étincelles (à l'intérieur du silencieux).
•
Il faut s'assurer que l'appareil soit assemblé
correctement et qu'il soit en bon état de
fonctionnement. Ne pas l'utiliser sans les tubes
de soufflage en place. Il ne faut pas l'utiliser
quand les carters de protection ne sont pas en
place.
•
Il ne faut pas essayer d'installer ou d'enlever
des accessoires, de faire de réparations ou
d'enlever une obstruction du carter du
ventilateur quand le moteur est en marche.

No ponga nunca en marcha el motor o lo deje
