Maintenance Works

Turn or replace vacuum lips
Remove the vacuum bar.
Unscrew the star grips.
Remove the plastic parts.
Remove the vacuum lips.
Turn the vacuum lips or insert new
ones.
Insert the plastic parts.
Screw in and tighten the star grips.
Replacing the brush rollers
Release the wing nuts.
Remove bearing lid.
Take out both the brush rollers, insert
new ones (follow the six-edge posi-
tions).

Place bearing lid.
Tighten the wing nuts.
Replacing the disk brushes
Turn the button for the setting of the ad-
vance speed in "– " direction.
Raise the disk brush.
Turn the disk brush by approx. 45° in
anti-clock-wise direction.
Remove the disk brush at the bottom.
Insert new disk brush in reverse se-
quence.
Set the advance speed.
Maintenance contract
To ensure a reliable operation of the appli-
ance maintenance contracts can be con-
cluded with the competent Kärcher sales
office.

Frost protection

In case of danger of frost:
Empty the fresh and dirt water reser-
voirs.
Store the appliance in a frost-protected
room.
Remove brushes to avoid damage to
the brushes.
When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.
