Inverter (only for the CB-1200-AC/DC)
Disconnect the 230 V external power supply at the caravan.
The 12 V connection cable of the CB-WS-300 inverter only allows an
installation location near the supply battery.
Provide sufficient space around the inverter to ensure good ventilation.
Please also ensure free access to the insulated socket at the front and to
the safety socket and interface connector at the rear. All cables must be
laid in such a way that they cannot be damaged by abrasions or breakage.
➤ Fasten the inverter with screws to a firm surface near the supply battery.
8.4.1 Battery connection of the CB-WS-300 inverter
Please observe that all volatile memories of the connected consumer units
will lose their stored data if the battery is disconnected.
➤ Disconnect the negative connection cable (earth) from the supply battery.
➤ Disconnect the positive connection cable from the supply battery.
➤ Use the red cable (included in the scope of delivery) to connect the
positive terminal of the inverter (a 2) to the positive battery terminal
(not to the battery terminal) of the positive connection cable.
➤ Use the black cable (included in the scope of delivery) to connect the
negative terminal of the inverter (a 3) to the negative battery
terminal of the negative connection cable.
Do not connect the connection cable to the battery terminals yet.
The input socket (0 1) is located on the front side of the inverter.
➤ Plug the insulated connection cable included in the scope of delivery
into the inverter.
➤ Plug the connection cable into the 230 V socket installed in the caravan.
