3.3.2Installation via web interface

To set up the WiFi 6 Repeater 3000, you
need a terminal device (laptop, smartphone
or tablet) with WiFi capability.

For the initial set-up, the WiFi 6 Repeater 3000
sets up a temporary Wi-Fi network called
"devolo WiFi 6 Repeater 3000", which has no
Internet connection. Connect to this network
with your terminal device (no password is
required).

Use a web browser on your terminal device to
call up the address http://2.2.2.1.

Your WiFi 6 Repeater 3000 features two oper-
ating modes:
Repeater mode

When you use the WiFi 6 Repeater 3000 as
a WiFi repeater, you expand your existing
network wirelessly.

Use this mode if you would rather not (or
cannot) route Ethernet cables in your
rooms. This procedure is described in Chap-
ter 3.3.3 Configuration as a repeater.
Access point mode

When you use the WiFi 6 Repeater 3000 as
an additional access point in your network,
you expand your existing network through
cabling.

To do so, connect the device directly to your
Internet access device (router). This proce-
dure is described in Chapter 3.3.4 Configu-
ration as an access point.

3.3.3 Configuration as a repeater

Click Install as repeater.
