Damaged charging cable – Danger to life due to electric
shock
The use of a damaged charging cable can result in death
or severe injury.
f Check the charging cable for damage (e.g. cracks) prior
to each use.
f Do not use a damaged charging cable.
Starting the charging process
Note the front cover – Figures 2 and 4.
f Remove the protective cap.
f Insert the charging cable.
f Start charging the vehicle.
Ending the charging process
„ Once the vehicle is fully charged, stop the charging
process.

f End the vehicle-side charging process.
f Unplug the charging cable.
f Attach the protective cap.
f Properly store the charging cable in your vehicle.
Cleaning
The charging cable can be cleaned with a dry or damp
cloth, depending on application conditions and soiling.

f Unplug the charging cable.
f Protect plugs and sockets against moisture and liquids.
f Do not use cleaning agents.
f Clean the charging cable with a dry cloth or a cloth
slightly dampened with water.
Disposal
The charging cable must not be disposed of with
household waste.
f Use a public collection point for the recycling of used
electrical and electronic equipment.
f If you have any questions, contact the dealer or waste
disposal company.
