6.2. Legrests
6.2.1. Fitting/removing legrests
You can flip the footplates up separately to the side and adjust to the
lower leg length of the user (see Chapter 6.3). You can remove the
legrests, swing them away and refit them without needing to use tools.
Attach legrests
•
The legrests are inserted into the receivers on the frame (Fig. 9).
•
Then swivelled inwards with a gentle push. Done.
•
To disassemble the legrest, pull the lever (Fig. 10) on the inner side,

swivel the legrest back out and pull it out of the receiver.
Legrest with footplate
Both legrests are delivered with footplates fitted.
When seated, the footplates on both legrests can be flipped up
(Fig. 8).
Before setting off, fit the legrests as described above.

6.2.2. Height adjustment of the calf
pad
•
Flip the calf pad forwards (Fig. 11).
•
Move it to the height required. 3 heights are possible
•
The calf pad is then swivelled back.
6.2.3. Angle adjustment of the leg-
rest
The legrests can be adjusted separately up to 90°. Push the locking
lever down (Fig. 12).
•
swivel the legrest by simply pulling it upwards to the required
position and then let go of the lever
•
the legrest will lock into place automatically
•
To move the legrest into a lower position or the initial position, pull
the locking lever and push the legrest back to the required position.
To change seat, the legrest must be swung away
or removed. Never sit on the legrest. Risk of tipping
over!
6.3. Adjusting the legrest
length
The length of the legrest can be infinitely adjusted using the telescopic
tube.
•
Undo the hexagon head screw (SW13) by turning it to the left (Fig.
13).
•
Adjust the legrest as required
•
Re-tighten the screw by turning it to the right.
To change seat, the legrest must be
swung away or removed. Never sit on
the legrest. Risk of tipping over!
