10 3 1 Calibration of the batteries
If the CANNS500 (battery monitor) has been connected to the sys-
tem, the basic battery parameters can be entered in this menu.
10 4 Compatible sensors
Each NMEA2000-certified transducer (sensor) can be connected to
the local NMEA2000 network.
10 5 Password
@ Quick Access > > Network > Password
This menu is only intended for experts!
A password is used to unlock menus which have not been designed
for everyday use and are only intended for experts.
02929 - Select your update channel.
44441 - System menu. Use the system menu for example to activate
demo mode, change parameters, upload debug reports and test
hardware functions.
30000 - Dialogue window activation code Use this to activate a func-
tion for which an activation code has been received.
00666 - System reset. Select the options you want to reset to the
standard settings.
11 Maintenance
The device does not contain any parts that can be repaired by the
user. The maintenance to be carried out is minimal.
To prevent UV damage, always fit the protective cover provi-
ded when the device is not in use
11 1 Cleaning the display
• Turn off the screen.
• Switch off the system power.
• Rinse the screen with plenty of clean fresh water to remove dirt
and salt residues.
• Use a cleaning cloth to clean the screen. Exert minimal pressure
on the screen.
When specks on the screen cannot be removed using the cloth alone,
use a 50/50 mixture of warm water and isopropyl alcohol to clean
the screen.

Avoid all contact with solvents (acetone, mineral turpentine
etc ) or cleaning agents that contain ammonia, as these can
damage the anti-reflective layer
11 2 Debugging report
In the case of firmware-related problems, it is possible to send VETUS
a debugging report. To do this, connect your device to a network,
enter the password 44441, select Log management and press the
Upload logs button.
