Cleaning
Unplug the cooking hob
1
from the mains.
Apply a worktop cleaner
2
while the glass is still
warm (but not hot).
Rinse and dry with a clean
3
cloth or a paper towel.
Reconnect the hob to
4
the mains if you wish to
continue using it.
Remove them immediately
with a spatula or a suitable
scraper for ceramic hobs, but
be careful with hot surfaces
in the cooking area:
Unplug the cooking hob
1
from the mains.
Hold the cookware at a
2
30° angle and scrape the
dirt or spillage onto a cool
area of the hob.
Clean the dirt or spill with
3
a cloth or paper towel.
Follow steps 2 to 4 from
4
the 'Usual dirt on glass'
section.
Important
If you unplug the cooking hob
-
from the mains, the hot surface
indicator will disappear, but
the cooking area will be hot. Be
especially careful.
Strong or some nylon scouring
-
pads and strong/abrasive
cleaning products can scratch
the glass. Always read the label
to check if your cleaning product
or scouring pad is suitable.
Never leave any cleaning
-
remains on the cooking hob:
glass may get stained.
Remove melted and sugary
-
food stains or spills as soon
as possible. If left to cool
on the glass, they may be
difficult to remove or may even
permanently damage the glass
surface.
Risk of cutting: when the safety
-
cover is retracted, the blade of
the scraper may be sharp like a
razor. Use it with extreme care
and always store it safely and
out of reach of children.
