Power boost function
You can use the standard mode or the power
boost function.
• Standard mode: The product is set to
standard mode when started. Standard mode
saves energy and gives maximum operation
time. Standard mode is applicable for most
tasks.
• Power boost function: The power boost
function lets the product operate at high
speed. The power boost function can for
example be used in areas with thicker grass
growth than usual.
To start and stop the power boost function
You can start or stop the power boost function
while the product is in operation.
• Push power boost button. The power boost
function is on when the LED is on.
• Push power boost button. The power boost
function is off when the LED is off.
Note:
If the power trigger is released during
operation, the product starts in the last set
function. If the product automatically stops, or
if the operator pushes the power button, the
product is set to the standard function again
when started.
To change the direction of rotation of the
trimmer head
You can change the direction of rotation at full
speed or at stop position. At start, the trimmer
head is set to turn clockwise.

• Push the left button (A) to set the direction of
rotation to counterclockwise.

• Push the right button (B) to set the direction of
rotation to clockwise. The green LED shows
the direction of rotation that is used.
Note:
It is easier to tap out the trimmer line
to make it longer when the trimmer head turns
clockwise.
Automatic shutdown function
The product has an automatic shutdown function
that stops the product if the product is not used.
The green LED for start/stop indication goes off
and the product stops after 120 seconds.

To stop the product

1. Release the power trigger or the power trigger
lockout.
2. Push the power button until the green LED is
off.
3. Push the release buttons on the battery and
pull the battery out.
