INSTALLING WALL POSTS
• In this step, you'll need following parts: [1] x2, [22] x8, [23] x8, [26] x1

1a. Measure from the outside edge of the base deck 3/4" to 1" (19 to 25 mm) (ref. main illustration near
bottom) and mark deck of base. Place outside edge of Wall Post [1] (slot where glass panel goes) onto
mark on base deck and plumb using Level [B]. Tape Wall Post [1] to shower wall to temporarily hold in
place. Mark all predrilled holes in Wall Post [1] with a pencil [J]. Repeat procedure for Wall Post [1] on
opposite side.
1b. If using supplied Wall Anchors [22] drill each of the marks on the wall from step 1a using a 6mm drill bit.
If not using Wall Anchors, drill using appropriate size bit for screw being used.
1c. If using Wall Anchors [22], place into each drilled hole.
1d. Place either left or right Wall Post [1] on the wall and screw into place using ST4x35 [23] screws. Ensure
Wall Post [1] is in correct position (ref illustration).
1e. Slide the Hole Location Template [26] all the way down over left Wall Post [1]. NOTE: the "L" stamped
into the Hole Location Template [26] indicating LEFT.
1f. Mark the hole in the Hole Location Template [26] with a pencil [J].
1g. Remove Hole Location Template [26] and drill marked location on shower wall with a 6mm Drill Bit [D]
if using Wall Anchor [22].
1h. Insert Wall Anchor [22] into drilled hole. Tap into place with Hammer [I].
