STEP 4 - Remove Side Panel Accessory Trim Plate
Procedure
1. Using a 7mm socket, remove the (2) fasteners located under
the parking brake. Figure 4 and 5.

1. Using a 7mm socket, remove the (2) fasteners located under
Front Floor Console Compartment. Figure 6.

2. Grasp the back edges of the trim and lift upward and rear-
ward releasing the clips.
3. Disengage enough to allow removal of the console trim
electrical connectors.
4. Adjust the shift lever position as necessary in order to
remove the accessory trim plate from the vehicle.
5. Remove the center console trim piece. Figure 7.

STEP 6 - Remove HVAC Control Module
Procedure
1. Using a 7mm socket, remove the HVAC control module
retaining screws.
2. Disconnect the HVAC control module electrical connec-
tions.
3. Remove the HVAC control module. Figure 8.
