Lower the I/P Lower Closeout Panel
4. Locate the I/P harness behind the driver knee bolster panel and
route single Class 2 wire along side the IP harness. Install tie
straps as shown. Figure 13 and Figure 14.

NOTE! PIN-K MUST BE COMPLETELY REMOVED.
NO WIRES GO BACK INTO PIN-K CAVITY.
5. Remove Pin-K from the terminal-splice pack connector and cut
the terminal off and expose the bare wire to prepare for the
crimping operation. After Pin-K is removed, the splice pack comb
and tape may be re-installed. Figure 15, Figure 16, Figure 17 and
Figure 18.

6. Take the single PAL harness wire that was pulled through the I/P
and Crimp to the wire that was removed from Pin-K.

Sealed Splice Instructions:
A. Position stripped ends of wire into sleeve until wire hits
stops.
B. Hand crimp each side of the sleeve seperately using the
approved crimping tool (GM part number 12085115).
Gently tug on the wires to make sure they are securely
crimped.
C. Apply heat carefully to shrink the tubing. Use a heat
gun or GM Ultra Torch (GM part number 12085116).
D. Check for electrical continuity.
