Using the hotplate
Warnings
Before using the hotplate right after installing the hob, set the plate to the highest level and
wait for 5 minutes without placing any pot on it. During this period, fume and smell might
come out of the plate; this is normal. These will disappear after use. Except for the first
heating process, do not operate the hotplate without any pots on it. Use pots with fully flat,
thick bases with sizes similar to that of the heating part. Never use pots with smaller bases.
Please make sure that fluids do not flow on the plate and wet pots are not placed on it. Ensure
that products containing acid (e.g. vinegar, salt, lemon juice) do not contact the plate. Do not
use sharp objects such as spatulas to clean the aluminium parts or the junction points of the
glass and metal surfaces on the hob.
Use
Power control knob 3+1
The hotplate is operated via a knob with which you can select the suitable power for the food
you will cook.
To turn on plate:
Considering the cooking type and food amount, and using the table below, turn the control
knob to the left to set it to the suitable position for the food you want to cook. The red
warning light will become on when the knob is set to any position other than the off position.
