Gas Connection
These instructions are only for qualified and specialist personnel. Installation of the appliance
must be in compliance with the applicable standards.
Electrical connection must be disconnected before starting any procedure.
Warning: The gas type and adjustment terms for this product are indicated on the
type label.

Before placing the product, please make sure that the local distribution
conditions (gas type and gas pressure) and product settings are suitable.
The authorised person/service provider performing the installation must make the
adjustments and installations as per the applicable mounting laws in the relevant
country.
The type of gas that must be used with the hob is indicated on the label that is on the lower
side of the hob. Connection to the main gas supply or to the gas cylinder must be established
after checking that the appliance has been set to the relevant gas type. If set correctly, please
check the following instructions.
• Make sure that LPG regulators you will use for the product are TSE certified and have
300 mmSS (30 mbar) outlet pressure.
• In the case of 500 mmSS (50 mbar) pressure, a suitable LPG regulator must be used.
• Natural gas pressure is 200 mmSS (20 mbar). Consult our authorised service providers
for natural gas conversion. Use pipes, washers or sealing washers that comply with
national standards.
For some models, a flared joint is provided for installation in some countries where flared joint
is obligatory. In this case, the flared joint must be connected to the hob.
If the hob is going to be connected to the gas supply through a flexible hose, the length of the
hose must be 120 cm maximum.
• The end of the gas inlet connection must be positioned so as to allow for free
movement of the flexible hose connection;
• The flexible hose to be connected must not contact the moving parts of the place
dedicated to a unit in any way (e.g. a drawer), and it must not pass through any section
where it might cause any obstruction.
• Unless the manufacturer recommends the use of a flexible hose, do not disassemble the
product for connection.
Before starting any work on the gas installation, please disconnect the gas supply.
Establish the connection making sure that there is no pressure on hob connection joints or
pipes. Make sure that the pipes do not tangle and cause any clogging or contact sharp corners.
Make sure that the gas hose is TSE certified and it does not pass through hot areas.
NOTE: Do not expose the gas hose to extra loads. Replace the gas hose of your hob
every 4 or 5 years even if it is undamaged.
