Try to avoid causing the machine to jam. When this
happens, it requires an excessive amount of energy,
which means that the battery becomes discharged
sooner and is subject to higher wear.
If you notice that you have to charge the battery
more and more frequently, it is spent and must be
EN
replaced.
Observe the instructions for disposal.
Battery cap
A battery cap 5 is enclosed in the delivery to allow
you to protect the contacts of the battery when it
is removed.
Fit this cap 5 over the battery contacts when
storing, transporting or disposing of the battery.
If the battery cap is not fi tted, loose metal parts
could short-circuit the contacts, creating a danger
of fi re and explosion.
Battery charge level indicator
The three LEDs on the charge level indicator 3 show
the level of the charge in the battery.
Press the button IV to display the charging status.
The charge level indicator LED goes out automa-

pressed, the battery needs charging!

pressed, the battery is faulty and must be replaced.
While the battery is charging, the three LEDs light up
consecutively. The battery is fully charged when the
three LEDs all light up continuously at the same time.
The three LEDs go out again approximately fi ve
minutes after completion of the battery charging
process.

are working on when lighting conditions are poor.
