Operating tips
Apply the power tool to the screw only when it
is switched off.
Rotating tool inserts may slip.
EN
After working for a long time at low speed, you
should run the power tool for approx. 3 minutes
at maximum speed in idle to allow it to cool.
Make sure that the bit and screw correspond in
size and shape.
Optimal screwing is achieved when the screwing
device is fi xed securely in the screw head.
Clutch
The screw can be placed on the still standing bit
while the machine is running. The clutch engages
only after applying pressure while screwing. When
the depth stop comes to rest on the surface, the
clutch is disengaged. The bit again comes to a stop.
5 - Tools and accessories
Belt clipholder
The belt clipholder 7 can be used to clip the power
tool to a belt, for example. This leaves both your
hands free, while the power tool remains within
easy reach at all times.
You can also store up to 8 bits in the belt clipholder.
To use the belt clipholder, proceed as follows:
Screw the retaining pin 8 to the power tool.
Place the belt clipholder 7 in the desired
position.
Hook the power tool into the belt clipholder 7.
Special accessories
Do not use accessories made by other manufactu-
rers, as these are not tested by SPIT.
It can be dangerous to use such accessories.
To avoid injury and damage, use only accessories
recommended by SPIT.
6. Maintenance and service
Maintenance and cleaning
Remove the battery from the device
before undertaking any work on the
device.
This safety measure prevents acciden-
tal starting of the power tool.
 Always keep the machine and ventilation slots
clean.
Regularly wipe off the plastic parts which are
accessible from the outside using a cloth wit-
hout cleaning agent.
Always keep the tool holding fi xture clean.
Service
After heavy use over a long period, the
machine should be taken to a SPIT
service location for inspection and
thorough cleaning.
You will fi nd a list of service centres on the back of
these operating instructions.
Environmental Protection
Recycle raw materials instead of dis-
posing them as waste. The machine,
accessories and packaging should
be sorted for environmental-friendly
recycling. The plastic components are
labelled for categorised recycling.
Do not dispose of electric tools toge-
ther with household waste material!
In observance of the European Directive 2002/96/
EC for waste electrical and electronic equipment
and its implementation in accordance with national
law, electric tools that have reached the end of their
life must be collected separately and returned to an
environmentally compatible recycling facility.
Do not dispose of battery packs/batteries into house-
hold waste, fi re or water. Battery packs/batteries
should be collected, recycled or disposed of in an
environmental-friendly manner.
