Always keep the instrument in motion, either up and down the tooth or across the proximal surface in lingual or buccal direction away from the tooth.

Prostheses may otherwise become loose due to the high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations. Since the instrument causes only slight pain, it is also ideal for the treatment of acute, painful periodontitis.
Página 31 Operating Instructions BACS125 / BACS126 6 Post-reprocessing Post-reprocessing After each treatment session NOTE! Condition immediately, or at the latest, one hour after treatment. CAUTION! You can puncture your hand with an ultrasonic handpiece when the tip is inserted. This may cause injury! When the ultrasonic handpiece is not in use, remove the tip or attach the torque wrench for protection.

Transport the ultrasonic handpiece, ultrasonic tip and torque wrench to the hygiene room in a suitable transport container. Conduct automatic conditioning. Manual conditioning [→ 34] is possible in exceptional cases if the national/local regulations are followed.

Do not use any strong acidic or alkaline solutions (5 < pH < 9) or solutions containing chlorine. ü Wear appropriate protective clothing. ü All disinfectants must be approved in your country and have proven bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal properties.

Ä For further reprocessing, the instrument should be dry and free of residue. Please observe the manufacturer's instructions for using instrument disinfectants.

NOTE! The ultrasonic tips can be cleaned and disinfected on the outside only after removing them from the torque wrench.

Do not use any strong acidic or alkaline solutions (5 < pH < 9) or solutions containing chlorine. IMPORTANT: Unscrew instrument tip and blow the remaining water out of the handpiece and tip.
Página 38 7 Reprocessing Operating Instructions BACS125 / BACS126 Brush the ultrasonic handpiece, detached tip and torque wrench under running water (< 38 °C, < 100 °F, at least drinking water quality) and good lighting (min. 500 lux) and color rendering index (min. 80 Ra) until no more dirt can be seen, for at least 10 seconds.

Setzen Sie die Ultraschallspitze in den Drehmomentschlüssel (A) ein. Schrauben Sie die Ultraschallspitze im Drehmomentschlüssel langsam entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn ein. Drehen Sie eine Vierteldrehung über den Widerstand hinaus.
