Operating Instructions BACS125 / BACS126
1. Brush the ultrasonic handpiece, detached tip and torque
wrench under running water (< 38 °C, < 100 °F, at least
drinking water quality) and good lighting (min. 500 lux) and
color rendering index (min. 80 Ra) until no more dirt can be
seen, for at least 10 seconds.
2. Blow spray channels with 2.5 - 3 bar until no more moisture
exits, but at least 10 seconds.
3. Conduct thermal disinfection or unwrapped steam sterilization.
4. Pack the instruments in packaging material suitable for
sterilization and storage. e.g. paper/plastic composite
packaging.
5. Conduct sterilization [→ 37].
