6 Post-reprocessing
6.1 After each treatment session
NOTE! Condition immediately, or at the latest, one hour after
treatment.
CAUTION! You can puncture your hand with an ultrasonic
handpiece when the tip is inserted. This may cause injury! When
the ultrasonic handpiece is not in use, remove the tip or attach the
torque wrench for protection.
ü The ultrasonic handpiece is not in operation.
ü Wear appropriate protective clothing.
1. Purge the water paths directly at the treatment unit for 30
seconds.
2. Predisinfect directly at the treatment center [→ 31].
3. Unscrew the ultrasonic tip using the torque wrench.
