3. Remove the battery pack before cleaning the tool.
4. Clean the tool with a dry or damp cloth. NEVER
use any solvent.
5. Keep the magazine channel clean.
6. DO NOT oil or grease any parts
7. Be sure the tacker is not damaged. Replace or
repair prior to use.
CLEARING A JAMMED STAPLE/NAIL
1. Remove the battery from the tool. (Figure 6)
2. Press the magazine latch

3. Remove the staples/nails from the magazine.
4. Remove the jammed staple/nail. If necessary use
a tool.
5. Insert staples or nails and close the magazine
cover until it engages with the magazine latch.
6. Reconnect the battery to the tool.

special fi xtures. This can lead to personal
injury.
If the tool/charger should fail despite the care taken
in manufacturing and testing procedures, repair
should be carried out by an after-sales service centre
for Rapid tools.
