3.3. Safety Precautions for the Radar Kit III
In order to avoid incorrect handling and injury to the user or destruction of the Radar Kit III arising from this, pay attention
to the following:
• Protect the Radar Kit III from strong impacts and do not drop it.
• Protect the Radar Kit III from long periods of exposure to solar radiation.
• The Radar Kit III is not waterproof. Protect the Radar Kit III from fluids such as water, oil or gasoline.
• In case of damage of the Radar Kit III, the precise adjustment of the rear radar sensors is not longer ensured and
warranty and guarantee will become void.
3.4. Safety Precautions – Laser
There is a risk of injury through dazzling the eyes when working with the laser. Therefore regard the following:
• Do not direct the laser beam towards persons, doors or windows.
• Never look directly into the laser beam.
• Ensure proper room illumination.
• Avoid trip hazards.
• Secure mechanical parts from falling over or becoming loose.
Laser class 2
The accessible laser radiation lies in the visible spectral range (from 400 to 700 nm). If the exposure is brief (up to 0.25 s),
it is eye-safe. The radiation outside the wavelength range from 400 to 700 nm fulfills the conditions for class 1. For ex-
tended or diffuse sources, a correction factor can be used.
