3. Operation
• If you actuate the steam switch (C5), steam is
emitted. Direct the first burst of steam of the
steam gun (C1) at a separate piece of cloth
until the steam is emitted evenly.
• The heating of the steam cleaner is turned on in
regular intervals during the operation of the
appliance in order to maintain the pressure in the
boiler at a constant level. When the heating is turned
on, the yellow indicator lamp (B4) lights up.
Adjusting the steam quantity
using the rotary knob (B2)
"Dry" steam
You can adjust the "dry" steam quantity by set-
ting the rotary knob within the "dry" steam con-
trol range (B3).
Figure 7: "Dry" steam control range (B3)
"Wet" steam (Vapo Hydro)
In wet areas, you can also wash away the dirt
instead of absorbing it with the cloth. The more
water is contained in the steam jet, the better the
rinsing effect. With the maximum "wet" steam
quantity, a hot water jet is emerged, and the
highest rinsing effect is achieved.
You can adjust the "wet" steam quantity by set-
ting the rotary knob within the "wet" steam con-
trol range (B1).
Figure 8. "Wet" steam control range (B1)
If you increase the "wet" steam quantity, the
boiler is emptied more quickly.
Application:
– In wet rooms (e.g. bathroom, toilet, etc.) to
wash away the dirt.
– In connection with the detail nozzle for the
cleaning in the bathroom.

Adjusting the Steam Quantity using
Handwheel (C2) on the steam gun
If you work with the steam gun (C1), you can
adjust the steam quantity using the handwheel
(C2) of the steam gun.
• At first, set the rotary knob (B2) to the
maximum "dry" or "wet" steam quantity.
• If you turn the handwheel forwards, a large
quantity of steam is emitted. If you turn the
handwheel to the rear, a small quantity of
steam is emitted.
If the handwheel is set to a small quantity of
steam, steam may continue to be emitted after
the steam switch (C5) has been released until the
pressure in the steam hose has been reduced.
You can accelerated this process by briefly
turning the handwheel (C2) forwards.
Parking the Appliance
• If you interrupt your work for a short period of
time, the extension tube with the attached
nozzle can be inserted into the parking position
(see Figure 9).

Refilling Water
If the water in the boiler has been consumed, the
red low-water indicator lamp (B6) lights up.
You cannot open the safety lock (A3) as long as
a slight pressure is still present in the boiler.
While the low-water indicator lamp lights up, you
can unpressu-rize the boiler.
• Press the steam switch (C5) on the steam gun
(C1) until no more steam is emitted. Now, the
boiler of the appliance is unpressurized.
• Unscrew the safety lock (A3) from the
appliance.
A residual amount of steam may be emitted when
you open the safety lock. Be careful when you
open the safety lock, there is the risk of scalds.
