COMPATIBILITY #1
- When assembling with other safety components, check the compatibility of each component
and ensure that all recommendations in the product information leaflets and applicable standards
relating to the fall arrest system are followed. In particular, ensure that the safety function of one
component is not affected by the safety function of another component and that they do not
interfere with each other.
- The fall arrest system must be connected to the sternal anchorage point of the EN361 harness
using the harness connection element (#2-4). These points are identified by the letter A (single
hooks) or A/2 (connecting these points together).
- Harness connection element: it can be an EN362 connector, an extension lanyard (ref.: NEX.35)
or an ABS'O 40 energy absorber with 2 EN362 connectors on the ends. Horizontal configuration:
use only the ABS'O 40 energy absorber with 2 EN362 connectors and the TWIST 11 mm anchor
line (see table #1). The harness connection element must not be extended. Refer to Table #1 for
length limitations for different configurations.
- Rope line:
• EN353-2: Use only ropes tested during EU type certification: TWIST 11 Ø11mm (see table #1);
Sheathed braided semi-static polyamide rope.
• EN12841 type A: Use EN1891 type A semi-static ropes (core + sheath) with a diameter of 11mm.
Ropes tested during EU type certification: Cousin Trestec 1435 Ø11mm.
