Installation on the Spraygun
CLICK & GO Design
It is assembled in a CLICK without the need of disassembling any element from the gun.
The ergonomic design of the ALTAIR LED is perfectly integrated on the 4600 Xtreme spraygun
body without altering its center of gravity and its balance.
09. Maintenance and Cleaning
Maintenance:
All maintenance should be performed in an uncontaminated area.
- The equipment should be stored and transported in a way that will not affect its working
performance.
- It should preferably be kept in its original packing at an even ambient temperature and humidity.
- Battery Pack: See Warnings Section for more information. Periodically (approximately every
month) remove the battery pack from the flashlight and visually inspect for signs of gas or chemical
leakage. Indications of leakage are discoloration of the plastic sleeve or white fuzzy material near
the top (positive button) of each cell. Another indication would be a bulging deformation of the
bottom (negative flat end) of the cell can. If these signs are observed the battery pack should be
removed from service to prevent chemical damage to the inside of the flashlight.
Fully Charged Battery Storage: If you do not use your flashlight for long periods of time (four
months or more) we suggest you remove the battery pack from the flashlight to prevent chemical
damage (acid leaks).
O-ring: To prevent the seal from drying out, it is necessary to grease the friction zone periodically
to ensure perfect operation.
Cleaning:
Our ALTAIR LED lighting equipment is built with chemical resistant components that withstand
solvents and tough thinners.
A simple wipe down with a little thinner, a microfibre cloth and a brush will keep it clean for the next
round of painting without damaging the ALTAIR LED.
Do not submerge the lighting equipment in solvents.
