The unit must be stored at room temperature for at least 3 hours before startup.
Do not apply force to the unit during unpacking, setup, operation, or maintenance.
4.1 Unpacking and setup

Select a setup location where the printer is not exposed to direct sunlight or drafts.
⇒ Place the shipping box on a flat surface on the floor. Ensure that you have enough
space available�
⇒ Open the shipping box. It contains three boxes:
- Unit
- Cover
- Accessories box
⇒ Remove the three boxes.
⇒ Carefully open the box with the unit.
⇒ Remove the foam insert�
⇒ Carefully remove the accessories box provided. It protects the extruder during transport. This box con-
tains the accessories for the SIMPLEX 3D filament printer.
⇒ Lift the SIMPLEX 3D filament printer out of the shipping box by gripping the insides of the frame.
Please note the weight of the printer and ask a second person to assist you if necessary.
When removing, be careful not to touch the extruder and the electronics.
The SIMPLEX 3D filament printer is not suitable for setup in the treatment room.
⇒ Place the SIMPLEX 3D filament printer on a stable and level surface with sufficient space around the
unit�
Do not cover the ventilation openings on the rear of the unit
⇒ Ensure that the on/off switch and power cord are easily accessible.
⇒ Using the wire cutters, remove the two cable ties that secure the print bed�
Caution: Do not damage the Kapton film!
⇒ Remove the door, which is located under the print bed�
⇒ Carefully open the box with the cover so as not to damage the contents.
⇒ Remove the cover and set it aside carefully for subsequent assembly�
