Leveling the print bed

The SIMPLEX unit features a leveling process that ensures that the extruder and heated print bed are
optimally spaced (0.3 mm) and leveled uniformly.
A smaller gap or uneven leveling can result in damage to the Kapton film (orange colored tape on the
print bed), the print bed, the extruder, or in printing issues.
The gap between the extruder and the print bed is set using three adjustment screws under the print bed:
The print bed should be leveled after initial installation and approx. 1x every month.
You can ignore the "Please clean the nozzle!" message the first time the print bed is leveled.
When you level the print bed again subsequently, ensure beforehand that a filament is not load-
ed, and that the nozzle is clean. Clean the nozzle carefully using a soft cloth. Wear gloves as the
nozzle is at operating temperature at this point.
You can cancel leveling at any time using the left arrow
and return to the menu above.
