If abnormal operation occurs, stop using the Nailer
and contact a metabo HPT authorized service center
immediately.
(1) REMOVE ALL NAILS AND BATTERY FROM
NAILER.
□ ALL SCREWS MUST BE TIGHTENED.
□ THE PUSH LEVER AND TRIGGER MUST MOVE
SMOOTHLY.
* Do not place your hand in front of the
discharge outlet when checking operation
Clean the sliding area on the push lever if it doesn't
slide smoothly.
(2) Installing the battery.
Do not operate the push lever or trigger while
installing the battery.
Do not load any nails in the Nailer.

Make sure that the discharge outlet is fully pressed
against the workpiece before pulling the trigger.
□ THE NAILER MUST NOT OPERATE.
(3) If no abnormal operation is observed, you may load
nails in the Nailer.
Drive nails into the workpiece that is the same type to
be used in the actual application.
□ THE NAILER MUST OPERATE PROPERLY.

LOADING NAILS
● When loading nails into Nailer,
1) remove battery from the nailer;
2) do not pull trigger;
3) do not depress push lever; and
4) keep nailer pointed downward.
NOTE
● Use nail strips of 30 or more nails.
This power tool is designed so that the anti-blank
fi ring mechanism is activated when less than 20 nails
remain.
● Do not load nails of diff erent lengths at the same time.
● Do not load multiple strips of few nails at one time.
Doing so may lead to jamming or other malfunctions.
● Nails from 15 to 35 mm can be used with this power
tool.
Place the tips of the nails of whatever length against
the bottom of the groove in the magazine.
(1) Lightly press the stop lever.
(2) Slowly pull out the magazine cover.

(3) Push the nails against the uneven surface of the
magazine and insert the nail tips as far as they will go
into the groove of the magazine.
