HEADSET STEERING LIMITER
The Oiz Carbon headset has a Spinblock function, which
limits the headset rotation to 164º, allowing all the neces-
sary manoeuvrability, but preventing the handlebar and its
components from hitting the frame in the event of a fall.
164º
For the Spinblock function to work correct-
ly, all components of the headset, including
the stem, must be Spinblock compatible.
The frame cover, the steering spacers, the
SIC collector and the stem must have the
sure that the headset rotation limit is trans-
mitted to the stem.
TECHNICAL MANUAL
The SpinBlock function is achieved with a stop housed
in the rear part of the head tube and a rotation channel in
On frames with Spinblock function, do not
install the HS02-07/08 headset spacers be-
low the stem. They are not designed for this
use and may be damaged.
If these spacers are installed below the
-
stem, the Spinblock function may be affec-
ted, possibly causing damage to the frame
in case of a fall if the Spinblock funtion does
not work correctly. Damage to the compo-
nents caused due to an incorrect assembly
are not covered by the warranty terms.

The use of standard stems that are not
compatible with the Spinblock function will
cause the headset steering limit to be lost,
since the steering limit cannot be transmit-
ted to the stem since the universal collector
and the stem do not have the necessary
mounting non-OC stems that require the
use of the universal SIC collector.
Orbea does not guarantee the compatibili-
assemblies. Check that the stem measure-
ments to be used allow a correct assem-
bly of all the components and that they
allow the entry of the cables and housings
through the SIC collector.
