10. Slowly loosen the stop lever (19).
11. Actuate both operating levers (16) in order to
move the splitting wedge (4) downwards.
12. Now release both operating levers (16) and check
the top position of the splitting wedge (4).
11.2.2 Fold the swivel table (14) in/out
(Fig. 1, 16, 17)

Always keep the base plate clean so that the swivel ta-
ble can engage securely!
1. Swivel in the swivel table (14) by hand or foot until
the locking hook (10) engages.
2. Place the log straight on the swivel table (14).
3. Hold the log with the two retaining claws (18) on
the operating arms (6). Make sure that the log is
placed centrally to the splitting wedge (4).
4. Press both operating levers (16) down simultane-
ously.
5. Move the operating arms (6) approx. 2 cm away
from the log as soon as the splitting wedge (6)
penetrates. This prevents damage to the retaining
claws (18).
6. Drive the splitting wedge (4) down until the log is
split.
11.3 Splitting long wood
11.3.1 Operation of the log lifter (9) (Fig. 16, 17, 18)
1. Swivel the swivel table (14) to the side with your
hand or foot.
2. Move the right control arm bar (6) down.
3. Loosen the transport lever (7) of the trunk lifter so
that the lifting tube can move freely.
4. Lower the splitting wedge (4) until the log lifter (9)
rests completely on the ground.
5. Roll the material to be split onto the log lifter (9)
and the base plate (13). The splitting material must
lie between the two fixings of the log lifter (9).
6. Actuate the stop lever (19).
7. Switch the motor (21) on (see section 10.5).
8. Slowly loosen the stop lever (19).
9. The trunk lifter (9) moves upwards and positions
the log on the base plate (13).
10. Make sure that the log is placed centrally to the
splitting wedge (4).
11. Split the split material. Proceed as described in
section 11.3. 2.
11.3.2 Splitting long logs (Fig. 1, 16, 17)
1. Swivel the swivel table (14) to the side with your
hand or foot.
2. Place the log straight on the base plate (13).
3. Hold the log with the two retaining claws (18) on
the operating arms (6). Make sure that the log is
placed centrally to the splitting wedge (4).
4. Press both operating levers (16) down simultane-
ously.
5. Move the operating arms (6) approx. 2 cm away
from the log as soon as the splitting wedge (4)
penetrates. This prevents damage to the retaining
claws (16).
6. Drive the splitting wedge (4) down until the log is
split.
7. If the log has not been completely split during the
first splitting stroke, proceed as described in sec-
tion 11.5.
11.4 Starting position log lifter (9) (Fig. 18, 18a)
Note
This is used as a second guard arm when not using
the trunk lifter.
1. Put the trunk lifter (9) in the resting position.
2. Secure the trunk lifter (9) with the transport lever
(7).
11.5 Remove jammed log (Fig. 1, 16, 17)
Note:
Split through jammed wood using the swivel ta-
ble, knock it out against the splitting direction or
remove it by moving the splitting wedge upwards.

The swivel table must engage in the locking hook!

There is a danger of knotty logs becoming jammed dur-
ing the splitting process. Please note that the wood is
under a lot of tension when it is removed and parts of
your body can be crushed in the split crack.
- Do not reach into the log splitter when it is running.
- Do not put any objects into the log splitter while it is
running (e.g. hammer or similar).
1. If the log is not completely split during the first
splitting stroke, carefully move the splitting wedge
(4) with the log to the upper position using the two
operating levers (16).
