CAUTION
Before using the electrically power assisted cycle for the first time, the battery must be fully
charged using the battery charger supplied. The average time required to fully charge the battery,
which varies depending on the battery's remaining charge level, can be estimated to be up to 8/9
hours.
We recommend charging the battery with the specific battery charger after each use of the
electrically power assisted cycle.
Only use the battery charger provided or an approved model with the same technical
specifications, taking care to observe the same methods and precautions of use indicated on the
charged or in the manual.

Battery charge procedure
Instructions for charging the battery when it is inserted in the frame
Make sure that the battery charger, the charging connector, the mains cable plug and the battery
charging connector socket on the frame are dry.
Plug the battery charger's charging connector into the charging socket on the frame of the
electrically power assisted cycle, then connect the mains cable plug from the mains socket
(220V-240V ~ 47/63Hz).
There is a red indicator light when the battery is charging. When the indicator light turns green, it
signals that the battery charging cycle has been completed.
Unplug the battery charger's charging connector from the charging socket on the frame and
disconnect the mains cable plug from the mains socket to end the charging procedure.
Instructions for charging the battery when it is removed from the frame
Make sure that the battery charger, the charging connector, the battery charger connector socket
and the mains cable plug are dry.
Plug the battery charger's charging connector into the battery charging connector socket, then
connect the mains cable plug from the mains socket (220V-240V ~ 47/63Hz).
There is a red indicator light when the battery is charging. When the indicator light turns green, it
signals that the battery charging cycle has been completed. Unplug the battery charger's charging
connector from the battery charging connector socket and disconnect the mains cable plug from
the mains socket to end the charging procedure.
